Abu Dhabi: The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an has introduced the “From the Community to the Community” label, a new initiative designed to honor the invaluable contributions of individuals and organizations that have supported transformative social projects in Abu Dhabi.
The initiative was announced in Abu Dhabi and is aligned with the government’s declaration that 2025 is the ‘Year of Community’ in the UAE and confirmed in an official statement by the Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an, with comments from His Excellency Abdullah Al Ameri, Director General of the Authority, emphasizing the importance of shared responsibility in driving social development.
Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s vision, the Authority is placing physical plaques on key community projects to highlight the culture of giving. The program aims to unite government entities, private companies, social enterprises, and non-profits in addressing societal challenges. Contributions to these projects can be made quickly via the dedicated website, mobile app, bank transfers, or ATM machines.
“From the Community to the Community” celebrates a wide range of social priorities, including school tuition assistance, the development of treatment centers, the establishment of social clubs, facilities for halfway houses, and the creation of community parks. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to foster long-lasting social impact and stimulate community engagement throughout Abu Dhabi. It reflects the government’s commitment to creating a sustainable, collaborative environment that encourages both individuals and organizations to participate actively in addressing the emirate’s social challenges.
